March 8th: .At sea until 11 AM, moored rest of day. Temperatures 80s, light winds. Returned to Buna Roads, New Guinea.
March 9th: Moored all day, temperatures 80s, light winds. Received ammunition of all types in the morning.
March 10th: Moored all day, temperatures 80s, light winds.
March 11th: Moored all day, temperatures 80s, light winds.

Plans are being finalized for the next operations in the Central Pacific, and also in New Guinea.
Fighting continues in Italy at Anzio and at Monte Cassino.
Soviet troops continue advances in Russia and Ukraine.
