Still little news from the Army of the Cumberland.
In Mississippi, Grant's army continues to push the Confederates, and by the 18th, has moved them back into Vicksburg, and has the city under siege.
It has been decided that Clement Vallandigham, recently convicted of treason, will be removed to the Confederacy. This will happen within a week.
